This oval pot is stoneware, with blue underglaze transfer and finished with a translucent glaze. It has an appearance of faded age in places, is crazed and has patches of clay peeping through.
Like my collection of broken crockery fragments found washed up and smoothed by the tide on my local beach, this little trinket pot has me day-dreaming about shipwrecks and buried treasure.
